All students at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences can apply for a loan.
We grant loans of up to €750. The loan is interest-free, which means that no more money needs to be repaid than was paid out. It can only be applied for once per student during their studies.

What are the steps in the application process? The first step in the application process is to fill out the application form, which must be completed and returned by email to hopo@asta.h-brs.de along with the necessary documents. If we have no further questions or requests for additional documents, the application will be submitted to the hardship committee, which will then discuss it at its next meeting.
If the application is accepted, we draw up a loan agreement. This must be signed in triplicate by the applicant, the committee chair and the finance officer. The loan can then be disbursed.
The documents must be sent in full to spätestens 10 Tage vor der Sitzung vollständig an hopo@asta.h-brs.de at least 10 days before the meeting.
Repayment of the loan begins 3 months after the loan is paid out in monthly instalments of at least €25.
